Prepares parts and assemblies by shot blasting to stage for finished product; meets defined production standards, schedules, and quality requirements. Properly operates blast equipment to achieve customer requirements and follow proper procedures.

Essential Duties

Work with blast system and various tools for the completion of product to quality standards.
-Stage parts and welded assemblies for blasting processes
-Prepare and setup of necessary tools and equipment for blasting
-Inspect blast units for proper profile requirements, hoses, and nozzles
-Review of finished assemblies, parts, and product to quality requirements
-Report production issues and assist in resolutions as required
-Monitor dust collector and empty daily if needed
-Maintain safety requirements
-Perform other duties as requested

Previous Blast experience in a manufacturing environment is needed.

Job Description

This position is responsible for the daily setup and operation of a CNC Brake Press.  The operator will also assist other machine operators with any of their daily duties including area housekeeping, maintenance work, and material storage.

Essential Duties

• Reads job specifications and blue prints to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Sets stops or guides to specified length as indicated by drawing requirements.
• Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.
• Measures work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
• Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from work piece.
• Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces.

Essential Duties

• Safely operate company straight trucks and commercial vehicles to transport materials between JWF facilities and customer locations.
• Complete local delivery routes throughout the Johnstown, PA region.
• Load, unload, secure, and transport materials while following all applicable safety requirements.
• Understand and comply with load limits, weight restrictions, cargo securement requirements, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Properly use straps, chains, and other cargo securement devices to ensure safe transportation of materials.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain required driver logs, transportation records, and delivery documentation.
• Verify the accuracy of shipments, deliveries, and shipping paperwork.
• Assist with material handling, inventory movement, and kitting functions as needed.

Mixes paint according to specifications.
Moves switches and dials to start flow current and to activate conveyor and paint spraying equipment.
Readjusts pressure valves to control direction and pattern of spray and to correct flaws in coating.
Inspects painted units for runs, sags, and unpainted areas. Hand sprays parts to cover unpainted areas.
Cleans paint from ceiling and walls of booth, conveyor hooks or grid, and from disks, cones, spray heads, and hoses.

Work requires a minimum of one (1) year of experience in industrial painting, powder coating, and/or CARC.

Job Description

At JWF Industries, the Safety Lead is responsible for developing and implementing health and safety corporate strategy plans, enforcing policies, and assessing risk. They will conduct & facilitate training, monitor compliance, investigate & report incidents, and provide recommendations for improvement, aiming to create an overall safe workplace environment.  The Safety Lead is also responsible for creating safety initiatives for the company and verifying that the workplace is run in accordance with legal guidelines and OSHA safety requirements.  The focus is on promoting occupational health & safety and minimizing risks for employees.

Essential Duties

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Visit all facilities and all work cells regularly to fully understand and keep track of company operations, will also conduct safety audits on personnel, equipment and materials
• Will work with Area Managers to keep all employees at each facility safe by identifying & eliminating risks
• Evaluate, assess and alter safety procedures and policies for the benefit of employees and JWFI
• Analyze accident reports and evaluate injury case studies based on available facts; track incident metrics and apply findings
• Prepare and conduct safety training sessions for employees and vendors
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies and standards (including OSHA, EPA, etc.)
• Communicate with insurance companies & governing bodies and make recommendations in regard to Safety matters

Education Level

A completed degree in Safety Science or related field is preferred

Experience

Work will require a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Work requires knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment techniques, and the ability to produce reports and develop relevant policies

Work requires a high level of attention to detail and visual observations.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities; excellent organizational and motivational skills are required

Job Description

JWF Industries is seeking MIG Welders, TIG Welders, Production Welders, and Manufacturing Welders to join our growing team. Successful candidates will perform welding operations in a manufacturing environment utilizing established welding procedures to fabricate steel and aluminum weldments and sub-assemblies.

Essential Duties

• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or FCAW welding on steel and aluminum components.
• Layout, fit, fabricate, and weld medium to large weldments and sub-assemblies.
• Work with production jigs and fixtures to meet manufacturing requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, weld symbols, and specifications.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment according to welding procedures and print requirements.
• Perform welding in multiple positions, including:
  •  Flat
  • Horizontal
  • Vertical
  • Overhead
• Build weldments according to prints and customer specifications.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and conformance to standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Education Level

Formal education/training in welding needed

Experience

• Successful candidates will be certified through JWF Industries.
• All experience levels are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production welding environment is preferred.
• Experience with MIG Welding (GMAW), TIG Welding (GTAW), FCAW, aluminum welding, and steel fabrication is highly desired.
• Must be able to interpret blueprints & weld symbols, and fit/weld according to print (including the ability to build weldments from prints).
• Ability to fit and weld according to print specifications, including building weldments from drawings.
